Lakeside Condominiums: Project Explores Architectural Systems Integration Typical in High Rise Design. Located at the intersection of Shoal Creek Townlake and green structure has a range of services to its residents. The complex is built in a clockwise direction and was designed by architect Erik Leitner. The demand for residential development center in Austin is pretty high right now and these condominiums along the lake with a well-planned development is exactly what people need.
The Lakeside Condominiums project has several elements favorable to the environment. Out of the vertical expansion and efficient use of space, the project uses all available resources optimally. Natural ventilation and natural light set was also used up. Photovoltaics have been installed to harness solar energy. In keeping with the spirit of water conservation facilities, such as rainwater harvesting and irrigation were included.Plant native and drought tolerant were privileged.
This Lakeside Condominiums project explores the architecture of systems integration in the design of skyscrapers.
Facilities for residents
Moreover, the complex has been planned effectively so that residents can enjoy relaxing and socializing. There are several parks in the building, which were built vertically upwards, helping to create the space. You can not stay out of things to do here. For shopping, there are shops and grocery stores. The hotel has a cinema, a gym, restaurants and a bar. The complex II is related to the shopping district. There’s even space for an office on site.
The city of Austin has a progressive demand for more downtown residences. Lakeside Condominiums help to accommodate this need but more importantly, add to the active and social culture through integrated parks into the building’s vertical extension. To retain residents, the design includes retail, restaurants, grocery store, cinema, fitness facility, pool, and office space. Sited at the intersection of Shoal Creek and Townlake, the vertical greenscape is integrated counterclockwise and allows residents and citizens to climb the different green spaces whether to get to the next shop, their office, restaurant, workout facility or simply to walk and enjoy the view from various exterior elevations. The continuation of green space and the different uses help to encourage social interaction even though there are separations of private and public. The building is also designed to address the continuation and connection to the Second Street Shopping District making this a focal point. This project explores architectural systems integration typical in high rise design but it also demonstrates the utilization of natural day lighting, rainwater collection and irrigation, native and drought tolerant plants, photovoltaics, and natural ventilation as downtown Austin progressively continues to be environmentally conscious.
Go the whole place is quite fascinating and enjoyable. To go from one place to another, for example, from the restaurant at the office, one has to cross several green areas. Thus, navigation through the complex is very fun and the eyes on the road is nice and quaint. In fact, many facilities are planned in the building to help people enjoy the scenery around. Sites of the high points and elevations are simply breathtaking.
